Questions I get asked
How do you migrate to Shopify without losing rankings?
Crawl the existing site, map every URL to its new home, set redirects before launch, keep titles and content equivalent, resubmit sitemaps and watch Search Console for weeks after. That is how Publishers Clearing House and StrataFusion kept their rankings.
Do you need Shopify Plus for a headless store?
No. The Storefront API and Hydrogen work on standard plans. Plus is needed for checkout customisation and makes sense for high volume stores.
Can you move my site from Squarespace or WordPress to Webflow?
Yes. StrataFusion moved from Duda and Silicon Century Capital from WordPress, both with redirect mapping and a rebuilt CMS.
How long does a Shopify migration take?
Simple catalogue moves take a few weeks. A full Shopify Plus rebuild with integrations is a multi-month project released in stages.
Will the store go offline during the switch?
No. The new store is built and verified on a staging domain, data is synced, and the switch happens at a quiet hour with the old store still live until the new one is confirmed.
What happens after launch?
A support window is included, and most migration clients continue on a retainer for performance and conversion work.
